SolaX

You generate the API token yourself in the SolaX portal — free, in about a minute, with nobody to ask.

In beta

This was tested against the vendor specifications but isn't running for Sunplug customers yet. If you experience any issue setting it up, reach out to [email protected] and I will work with you to iron out any issue.

How freshAbout every five minutes

Sees the batteryYes

SolaX updates its cloud about every five minutes, however often Sunplug asks: fine on a steady day, behind on a changeable one.

Getting your token

  1. Sign in at solaxcloud.com
  2. Service → API → obtain tokenID
  3. Copy the token
  4. Find your registration number — the serial printed on the Wi-Fi dongle, also shown under Device → Inverter

Connecting

  1. Settings → Equipment → SolaX Cloud
  2. Paste the token and the registration number
  3. Check it works, then save

How house load is worked out

SolaX does not report household consumption directly. Sunplug calculates it exactly from production, grid and battery.

When it does not work

"Token invalid"

This is SolaX's own message, not a network problem. Regenerate the token in the portal — tokens can be revoked when an account changes.

The numbers look inverted

If your dashboard shows power flowing the wrong way, tell me — your firmware version reports the sign differently and I will fix it.
